Join us at our quilt guild meetings, where we come together to share not only our love for quilting but also a sense of community. As we gather, guild members break bread, bringing delicious homemade dishes to share and fostering connections over food and conversation. Our welcoming community embraces quilters of all skill levels. We gather regularly to share knowledge, inspire one another, and celebrate the artistry of quilting. Show and Tell

At AAQB, we celebrate the artistry of quilting by providing a platform for our talented members. Our inspiring ‘Show and Tell’ segment is the highlight of every meeting.  Our members bring a wide range of experiences and expertise to these  “Show and Tell” opportunities. Witness the unveiling of awe-inspiring quilts, each telling a story of craftsmanship, passion, and dedication. For every admirer of the craft, this segment offers a firsthand glimpse into the remarkable world of quilting, fostering an atmosphere of appreciation, generosity, and learning.  You will leave excited, inspired, and ready to “Go forth and create!”

Time and Location

Meetings in 2025 are held the first Saturday of the month, except Nov and Dec (and Jan. 2026)  on the second Saturday due to location scheduling conflicts. We take an annual break during Jul and Aug.

  ​St. Bartholomew’s Church Parish Hall at 4711 Edmondson Ave. Baltimore, MD 21229. Free parking on Church lot.

Lastest Announcements

In 2025, various institutions in Baltimore are celebrating the fabric artistry of Elizabeth Scott.  The AAQB is participating with several of these museums including:

• The Maryland Center for History and Culture as part of “Material and Memories: “Elizabeth Talford Scott and the Crazy Quilt Tradition” through December 2024 (extended through 2025). More than two dozen small crazy quilts by members are included in the display.
• The American Craft Council’s (ACC) flagship event, February 21-23, 2025 at the Baltimore Convention Center. The AAQB is participating in this annual event.
• Annual Port Discovery Day: On February 8, 2025, the AAQB created beautiful quilting memories with children at the Port Discovery Children’s Museum.
